Ulfsunda Slott
Due to the Corona times in the world at the moment one have to explore the home turf a little closer.
Me and my maid of honor P decided to take a Staycation at Ulfsunda Slott (Ulvsunda Castle) and it was great. The castle is located about 10 minutes with car from our home. They also had this amazing package “Stay in Bed” which literally meant that they served you all your meals in bed. Since me and P mostly hang out in our room on vacation this was a package right up our alley.
Our suite
At arrival we received som champgane and cold cuts in the room (included in the package), we also added some cheese and fruits.
We stayed in a suite which was just awesome. A HUGE bath, which could be considered moore as a pool as I could float around in it. Super cozy. P had a 30 minutes massage and then it was time for our dinner.
At check in we had chosen to be served dinner at 8 PM (20:00) and they were right on time. We both chose veal with a potato terrine and red wine sauce, cooked to perfection. There was also a dessert included in the package which was some sort of almond cake with some lemony stuff which was delicious! They also brought us some chips and peanuts for evening snack.
The rest of the evening we just stayed in bed, snacked, and watch a movie. We felt very relaxed.
In the morning they arrived with a large breakfast tray with all the breakfast items we had chosen the day before. Croissants, eggs, bacon, all one could ever have wanted. We ate in bed and slowly started to get ready. We had check out at 12:00 which gave us plenty of time to start the day without stress.

We stayed in suite, no. 401. The interior is different in every room, but this one had a huge beautiful bathroom and super high celings.
Service: 4/5
Staff and service was great from the moment we got there. A small note was that the morning receptionist was not aware that our package included check out at 12 instead of 11 and called us in the room, but we were of course allowed to stay our time.

They do not have a larger SPA or a gym or any pools or saunas, but the suroundings are beautiful and the courtyard as well. We didn’t explore the hotel that much (bar and restaurant)

For the whole Stay in bed - package including:
Night for 2 people in a suite, a bottle of champagne and cold cuts at arrival, dinner & dessert plus evening snacks (drinks excluded) and breakfast in room, in the morning +(room service charges waived if you wanted to order extra) we paid 3754 SEK about 364 EUR., which considered the amount of food and drinks (which is pretty expensive in Sweden) made this very affordable.
