Hilton Hua Hin

Another of my regular spots when in Thailand. Hua Hin is a great place with lots of things to do. I usually go for golfing and relaxing, but also some shopping and occasionally if I’m lucky there’s a Muay Thai fight in the stadium. 

Hilton is great, espacially their club loung which serves complimentary wine, food and snacks during 2 hours every night. The hotel is undergoing a facelift and the rooms are currently being upgraded, although I prefer the old styled rooms compared to the new modern one. 

The pool are is large and it is usually possible to get a good spot. Throughout the day they have water gymnastics and other activities in some parts of the pool. The pool area is also directly connected to the beach if one fancys a swim in the sea. There is a bar in the pool area which serves food all day for quite decent prices, but if you have an urge for Thai food it’s close by on the beach.

The SPA

The spa is great! They usually have some promotion, it is a little pricey (compared to the spas on the street outside), but it is well worth the money. If you want massage, body scrub or get pampered for hours this is the place, but if you want something like a mani/padi I would go to the cheaper ones outside.

The hotel also have a great rooftop with amazing views, you definitely need to go up to enjoy a drink here, even if you’re not staying at the hotel.

What I really love about this hotel is that they have everything. Pool, plenty of different restaurants, a great rooftop bar and even it’s own nightclub. You don’t have to leave this hotel, but if you want to it is right on the main road.

  • I usually stay in the club room. The king delux rooms are very nice and spacious. They have also now updated most of the rooms, even though I personally prefered the old “thai”-styled rooms

• Tips and tricks: If you stay in a club room you also get to enjoy their club lounge which serves free drinks and canapés 2 hours every day.

Total 20/20 points which means I strongly recommed this hotel !
